J.R. Smith Reveals His Wife Gave Birth 5 Months Early
This NBA Player and His Wife Asked For Prayers After Their Daughter Was Born 5 Months Early

In the 1 minute video, J.R. and Jewel reveal the news that their daughter was born a staggering five months early.
"We decided to share with the world what's been going on with our family the past five days," Jewel said. "We know a lot of you guys congratulated us on the expectancy of our little baby girl, but we had her five months early," she revealed. "She's five days old today, and her name is Dakota and she weighs one pound."
Jewel went on to explain why the couple decided to go forward and share their personal news publicly. "We know we're not the only family going through this, who has been through this and who will ever go through it so that's why we decided to share what we're going through with you guys," Jewel stated. "Please keep us in your prayers and we'll do the same for everyone else." Watch their full emotional video above.
