Mom Kicked Out of First Class Because of Crying Baby

Livid Mom Recounts Being Kicked Out of Her Airline Seat Because Her Baby Cried

Despite thinking she was prepared, the first time fashion blogger Arielle Noa Charnas flew with her baby didn't go as smoothly as she'd hoped for.

To help make the experience as painless as possible, the creator of Something Navy and new mom to baby Ruby booked first-class tickets for herself and her husband. However, as the family were settling into their flight from New York City to Los Angeles, the 9-month-old started crying.

"My husband and I paid for first class so that we'd have the extra space and could lay down with her," she wrote on Instagram. "Once we were boarded I was getting tons of eye rolls and head shakes from fellow passengers on @delta because my baby was crying (as if I could just look at Ruby and say okay now it's time to stop)."

After 10 minutes of trying to ignore the other passengers' obvious displeasure, Arielle wrote, a Delta flight attendant asked her and her baby to move to the back of the plane, "as if the people in the back didn't matter," because she was receiving complaints from other first-class passengers. "Give up our seats that we paid for and move," Arielle wrote. "I started crying because I was so stressed and anxious and instead of the stewardess being helpful and compassionate she instead made the situation worse."

It's unclear whether she ended up moving, but tell us: would you have stood your ground or given up your seat?
