I Went to the National Dog Show, and This Is What I Saw Backstage

The handlers do a lot to help the dogs while in the judging ring. Some bring toys to keep the dogs busy. A lot carry towels, spray water bottles, and brushes to make sure the dog is in tip-top shape before meeting the judge. Many will sit on the floor to keep the dogs occupied, and nearly all of them carry treats with them.
