Netflix Email Scam

Yikes! Watch Out For This Netflix Email Scam

If you've received an email from Netflix about updating your membership, it's best to think twice before taking action. A new phishing scam is taking aim at the streaming site's subscribers in order to gain access to their personal information. The emails direct recipients to a fake login page that looks just like the real Netflix website, as FireEye reports. Once users submit their email and password, they are taken to webpages that ask for additional personal information, such as their billing address, credit card number, and social security number. These emails should be ignored and promptly deleted. Now you know!
