For whatever reason, dolls from our favorite movie and TV shows never look like anything as the real actors and actresses that played them. The internet recently lost it when a Belle doll modeled after Emma Watson turned out looking like Justin Bieber (seriously it did!) That's where artist Noel Cruz comes in, who takes matter into his own hands and revamps dolls into beautiful works of art — including the Bieber/Belle one.
This isn't Cruz's first doll makeover; his Instagram account is full of shockingly realistic dolls that can be easily be mistaken as a photograph upon first glance. His work on dolls cover a vast array of fandoms and franchises from popular celebrities, to characters from pop culture, and even Disney princesses! In several of his posts on Instagram, he includes a before-and-after photo that will make your jaw drop. It makes you wonder why toy designers don't hire him to design all of their dolls.
